TRCK REVIEW: MAYO - BAKIT BA?

Aside from closing my eyes and vibing to whatever Brian Mcknight or Miguel record at the middle of the night, r&b has made us feel submerge into its soft blob of sound. The music probably took you somewhere, it’s either in your partner’s dreams or your crush’s first kiss. Maybe it was meant to be listened in a intimate setting, and no matter where r&b is at the moment, I would say that the music made its impression to a bunch of friends in my circle. Well, I’d refuse to say LANY or anything close to that but it is the emerging artists that made me hooked in the genre. Artists like Iloilo native Mayo releasing one of his most poignant tracks “Bahala Na?” in the online airwaves. The self-produced beat fuses trap influenced percussion, chillwave atmosphere, and the secret ingredient, Mayo’s very own angelic vocals skipping the (heart) beats in the track.

Whatever you’re listening to now, I suggest you to spare whatever you're doing and bookmark this track and let its 3:32 runtime take you away. The two sections justify the song’s emotional strength even if the track felt it was a bit off in its mixing and mastering element (in my opinion he should realy work on) but other than that, there’s that potential that everyone should look up to. Check this track out if you like!

Now what do you folks think of their new project? Do you like it or not? What is your opinion about it? Let me know in the comments below. Always leave a reaction below if you feel like it.
