TRCK REVIEW: Mandaue Nights - First Kiss

Cebu has turned red like a heart glowing out of your crush's chest. Electropop duo Mandaue Nights delivers another special track for the second time in a row. Their debut single "You & I" was one of my favorite electropop singles in recent memory. And their latest single "First Kiss", from their upcoming debut EP Love City, it's Spandau Ballet and Human League written all over it and we can't stop talking about how delightful this track sounds.

"First Kiss" starts off with a standard verse-chorus-verse structure. The lyrics contemplate their first kisses. The wavy synthesizer will make you go gaga, making this track a pop enthusiasts dream coming true regardless of which region in the country you are from. Mandaue Nights has brought up a different kind of "cool" in terms of sound and heart that New Wave music had back in the 80's. Chart-topping as it sounds, Mandaue Nights jumps on the same beat and they consistently bring you another quality upbeat tune in different heights.
