TRCK REVIEW: YSANYGO - Bakit?

Ysanygo are R&B pop duo based in Laguna. The siblings have been releasing ‘luscious’ singles that are backed with minimal production and smooth vocal shops from their female singer. Recently, they released their latest single titled “Bakit?” which was released on Spotify.

Ysanygo’s first two (or three?) singles while it did get some attention from music prods and music outlets, in my opinion, their music has a lot of potential but their production has left far from pleased. Up until now, they're still riding on the fact that they might not be heading in a different direction nor there isn’t anything much to say here in this track.

“Bakit?” felt really regular with the same quality of pianos and an underwhelming drum loop. The singer, on the other hand, her performance carried the entire track but it doesn’t really surpass their past singles last year. Ysanygo just needs to improve on their production more and they really need to upgrade their sound a lot. They need to sound distinct (by distinct, I mean away from their contemporaries) so they can show a little a bit of progression.
