We’re halfway 2017, and it’s time for you guys to check out two of the most talented, up-and-coming artists in both the underground and r&b/hip-hop scene right now!!
Nikka Appe of Batangas (Mula ETIVAC) and Space Impakto from the galactic jungle of Muntinlupa are questioning the wars and violence that is happening around the world in their spectacular track titled “Exist”. It’s been almost a year I’ve heard this track, hearing it mostly whenever I catch the two live. I’ve been asking and waiting -- and almost come to the point of begging -- for an official release. This track has surpassed my expectations, not only for how they executed every line with power, but the breezy, mellow beat that is produced by NOFACE RECORDS resident music producer, Serena_D.C. . Nikk Aape’s crooning vocals lightens up the mood while Space Impakto assists the tone with a powerful verse. This collaboration will come across as my favorites of the year. Besides the jerky fluency of Space Impakto's rapping, the message will always be sent to the listener with strong impact.
